You are then responsible for iterating and making adjustments to the strategy until an alpha is found that works in the current market conditions.
This hype has not only set unrealistic expectations but also fostered a stigma around trading bots. Instead of empowering traders, these platforms often leave users frustrated and skeptical of automated trading in general. Real Paper Trading
Most trading bot platforms we’ve seen offer a Live vs Demo enviroment that ususally spans the entire application. You can flip this and be either in the live or demo account.
We think this makes it difficult to change a strategy’s state from paper to live, as you’d have to re-create it in the other environment.
To to address this, every strategy on Aesir can be either set to Live or Paper trading. And if a viable strategy is found, you can simply promote your strategy to live trading, or demote it to paper trading if it needs more tweaks:
Unique Volatility Scanner
Market volatility is both an opportunity and a risk. Aesir’s unique volatility scanner constantly monitors market conditions to identify potential trading opportunities. This tool helps you navigate turbulent markets by highlighting moments of high volatility in either direction.
We haven’t seen any other trading bot platform offer this tool and it’s been of great value to us.
The Volatility Scanner works by taking a threshold, window and direction. For instance, the configuration below scans for assets that have dropped at least 3% in price in the last minute.
Social Hub for Strategy Cloning
We’ve also noticed that many crypto trading bot platforms don’t have any social trading mechanics, and the ones that do are usually locked behind a paid plan.
